Stainless Steel Anchor- Delta Style

The winged, or 'delta' style anchor, is our most popular seller. It tends to fit into most bow rollers nicely, sets quickly on the seabed, and is balanced to fall freely once released. 

What is the difference between the anchors that are selling for less and our anchors? There are several things we have run into with stainless steel parts from other suppliers:

• thinner materials
• bad welds
• warped parts
• polished parts not being electropolished first, which causes premature rusting from the contaminates when the parts are sanded prior to polishing
• 316 stainless metal not really being 316 even though it’s called out

Our anchors are 316 stainless and the supplier uses a handheld metal analyzer to confirm the correct steel was used on incoming parts.  The strength and welds are high quality and the parts are made to last. Our supplier is a large supplier of stainless steel parts to a large number of the OEM boat builders and has been for many years, so they are building parts to a higher standard to both sell in that market and to continue to grow in that market. In short, you don't have to worry about the quality that you are getting when you order a stainless anchor from us.
