ABOUT DARK HORSE MARINE
Dark Horse Marine is a family-owned shop in Clearwater, Florida, focused on one thing: making excellent anchor rodes.
Founded in 2013 by Bobby Matos and now run by his wife, Anna Matos, Dark Horse Marine has intentionally stayed small and specialized. Every anchor rode is hand-spliced in our shop using windlass-specific rope and chain, and built to work the way it’s supposed to—no guesswork, no shortcuts.
